no time, no time
how am i supposed to resist john mccain's story? his views on every issue except one are apposite to mine. he knows we are at war. he knows we must not turn our attention inward. he knows that there are serious, committed, well-funded persons in this world who hate you and me simply because we are alive. universal health insurance will not deter these people from attempting to destroy our nation. solving the subprime mortgage crisis will not shut down those whose every thought is of our destruction.

talk about scattershot!
every two years i think of something to say! this is not going well at all. how do these others maintain sufficient focus to express themselves two or three times a day?
in 2010, i intend to add to this "blog" more frequently.

blogspot haven for spammy?
*.blogspot is frequently seen in spam. the result is more dnsbl-based rejections of mail containing links to blogger blogs - including rejections by gmail!
the irony does little to salve the wrath of those puzzled by the whole thing.
if Google is going to 0wnZ the intertubes, it behooves her to be proactive in preventing spammy from misusing resources. don't you think?

i have a blog
the word "blog" is singularly inelegant. is that intentional? cf. "strawbs" for strawberries, "za" for pizza. i knew a person who called a single-hit device used to incinerate marijuana a "tor." this, he told me, is short for "one hitTOR." i wonder whether we (the community "we," not including me) need terms which lack musicality for some reason.
i have more to say, but at the moment i must go remove my 'dry from the 'chine.
